Support to 29 EOD&S Group

Last week saw ABP supporting elements of 29 Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search (EOD&S) Group, for two days conducting a service on their Abrasive Cutting Equipment (ACE). Here we see Lloyd Palmer who has been with ABP for 29 years as a Service Support Engineer responsible for servicing and training on the UK MODs ACE and our commercially available Abrasive Waterjet Cutting System (AWCS). The AWCS is a high-integrity, flexible cutting system, developed for use in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) or other hazardous applications. The ACE/AWCS enables EOD operators to remotely carry out decommissioning and low order techniques on unexploded munitions in a safe and remote environment.
