The Explosive Ordnance Assault Breaching (EOAB) Kit has been developed to contain a range of EOD disruptors for a wide variety of C-IED situations. The kit contains four different disruptors, with black finishes for more discrete operations. All tools, mounts and stands are included within the kit. The Explosive Ordnance Assault Breaching (EOAB) kit is suitable for render safe procedures on IEDs of medium size with extended capabilities and conventional munitions disposal (CMD) tasks. The kit contains the Needle Plus, Pigstick L, Hotrod L and the ABL2000L Disruptor/de-armer along with the ABP Telescopic stand and the Solex exploder. It is ideal for dismounted assault operations, or for use on small Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) on which payload weight needs to be kept to a minimum. The disruptor/de-armers are all multi-shot devices, capable of many firings and requiring minimal maintenance. The recoilless disruptors and de-armers have been subject to a series of formal tests against representative targets, sensitive explosives and pressure measuring systems. This ensures reliable and consistent disruptive performance with recoilless operation, minimum collateral damage and maximum operator safety. With a simple substitution of the front barrel assembly and use of the correct projectile, the ABL2000L is able to operate as a de-armer, capable of firing a range of solid projectiles such as chisel, plain and splat rounds. The Explosive Ordnance Assault Breaching Kit is manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality standard. Prior to dispatch, all items of equipment are subjected to an overpressure test. The kit is supplied with both disruptor and de-armer items required for use and operator maintenance accessories.
